Just in the middle of the night. 12:27. 2 BRIGHT BLUE FLASHES HAPPENED OUTSIDE. NO NOISE. NOTHING MORE. WAT. IM TOO SCARED TO LOOK OUTSIDE

Did anyone else get this, or did before?

Ok, I asked my mom and she said it was a police car driving through the snow-covered roads. I would've expected a bit of road noise though, this was just completely silent

My initial thought was a power line snapping. I watched it happen one time where ice weighed a power line enough to snap it. The arc was both huge and amazing. Shortly after that, we lost power.

Losing power sucked, but seeing that arc was well worth it!

no sure where you live but blue is snow removal vehicles lighting here. You might not heat them go by. Blue colour would reflect off snow easily.

I remember one time I was out on the lake with a friend after a massive storm, and clear across the lake (~3 miles) we could see this incredibly bright blue light flashing and flickering in the distance. Turns out a bunch of the electrical equipment at the end of my girlfriend's road was damaged in the storm. I don't remember exactly but I think they were unable to get out of their road for some time.

Yeah we used to have transformers blow monthly until the city finally got around to replacing them all. Still during hurricane season if we get a good tropical storm you can expect a few blown transformers.
